The Bristol Schools 48-Hour Film Challenge is back!
Last term, under the guidance of specialist art teacher Miss Dickson, the whole of Year 5 got involved in a piece of large-scale, collaborative artwork inspired by the work of artist Claire Youngs.
The girls started by producing ceramic tiles which they then imprinted textures and patterns on using netting and string.
The individual tiles were then assembled and surrounded by collaged jungle leaves, to create a magnificent piece of mosaic artwork, which is proudly displayed in the Junior School art studio.
As part of the project the girls were also invited to write a poem about the crocodile.
Congratulations to Lilia, pictured, whose poem was selected to be painted on the wall next to the reptile and is also listed below.
