World Book Day 2020 - Catherine Bruton visits | Redmaids' High School
Redmaids' High sends their congratulations and proud support to Lilly H, Martha B, Saskia L and Alice M as they continue their journeys on the England Hockey Performance Pathway.
Lilly, Martha and Alice have continued to perform well during their on-going U15 Regional Performance Centre training cycle. All three girls have fully immersed themselves in the process; looking to further their hockey experiences, develop their skills and enjoy every challenge and learning opportunity they meet within these high-performance environments. We wish them well for their final two Performance Centre sessions in the weeks ahead.
Saskia has continued giving exceptional performances on the hockey pitch with her hockey journey recently reaching the heights of the U18 England Hockey National training squad. Saskia has trained with the England National squad for the last two years, representing the England U16s team and making her debut against Ireland last year. Saskia now returns to the U17 Performance Centre training cycle. We wish her well and keep our fingers crossed for her potential selection to this year's Futures Cup Tournament in August.
Director of Sport Claire Maggs said ‘These four girls have always performed with great merit on the hockey pitch for Redmaids’ High and they are all wonderful role models to their sporting peers. It makes us so proud to see them progressing well on the England Hockey Performance Pathway and we wish them continued success in their hockey futures.’
