[![National finals here we come!](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Public%20speaking%201-450_th.jpg)](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/UserFiles/Images/NewsImages/Public%20speaking%201.jpg?637242743140000000) Last weekend, both our intermediate and senior public speaking teams followed up their District Final wins by also winning the Regional Final of the Rotary 'Youth Speaks' public speaking competition. The Regional Final, held at Wrekin College in Telford, brought together the best teams from schools across the South West, Wales and the Midlands area so the standard was exceptionally high.  However, all of our girls spoke with great clarity and confidence to win both the intermediate and senior age group categories. A well-deserved victory made all the sweeter for being held on International Women's Day. Both teams will now go on to compete in the National Final in May. Congratulations to Lucy, Milla, Lara, Grace, Kenisha and Ellie.     Date Posted: 9 March, 2020 [Share](http://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/news-article/national-finals-here-we-come-) ## Articles for: Sixth Form ![Our students make their voices heard | Redmaids' High School](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Public%20speaking%20success%20Gwenniem%20CC%20edited-450_th.jpg?width=770&name=Public%20speaking%20success%20Gwenniem%20CC%20edited-450_th.jpg) **Our students make their voices heard | Redmaids' High School** Date Posted: 12 February, 2019 READ MORE ![Work has begun on The Lawns at Cribbs Causeway | Redmaids' High School](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/The%20Lawns%202-450_th.jpg?width=770&name=The%20Lawns%202-450_th.jpg) **Work has begun on The Lawns at Cribbs Causeway | Redmaids' High School** Date Posted: 21 April, 2021 READ MORE ![Students' Hockey Success | Redmaids' High School](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/thumbnail_20210615_102859-450_th.jpg?width=770&name=thumbnail_20210615_102859-450_th.jpg) **Students' Hockey Success | Redmaids' High School** Date Posted: 18 June, 2021 READ MORE ![Celebrating a special man, and 50 years of service ](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Martins%2065th%20birthday-450_th.png?width=770&name=Martins%2065th%20birthday-450_th.png) **Celebrating a special man, and 50 years of service** Date Posted: 27 November, 2020 READ MORE ![What a wonderful surprise! | Redmaids' High School](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/letter%201-450_th.jpg?width=770&name=letter%201-450_th.jpg) **What a wonderful surprise! | Redmaids' High School** Date Posted: 24 February, 2021 READ MORE ![Entrepreneurial inspiration: ECA sessions with female business owners](https://news.redmaidshigh.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/breakwater%20blog%20post.jpg?width=770&name=breakwater%20blog%20post.jpg) **Entrepreneurial inspiration: ECA sessions with female business owners** Date Posted: 16 November, 2021 This year, the business and economics department at Redmaids’ High is running an extra-curricular club, where female...
