Three cheers for an excellent sports day!

IMG_9028Despite restrictions, Senior School Sports Day 2021 was one of the best yet! After such a challenging year it was amazing for the whole school to be together and involved in such a big event. The performances were seriously impressive, from record breaking brilliance, to grit and perseverance from athletes determined to do their best for some house points.

The House Captains looked wonderfully colourful and lent cheerful support to all those competing. Redmadio kept the cool tunes coming which the Year 7s particularly loved. Mr Brealey presented copious amounts of medals and certificates and kept the banter going with his fun announcements.

Students and staff cheered, the back room staff beavered away on the points and places, staff busily measured and timed and there was even a whole school Mexican wave. Although we can't wait until we can welcome parents back to be a part of it next year, it was definitely a fun-filled, sport fantastic, winning day to remember and a fabulous way to round off the year.

Well done Redmaids’ High!
