Shortlisted for excellence in the performing arts
We are delighted to announce that the Redmaids’ High Junior School has been shortlisted for an Independent School Parent Award – in the Performing Arts category.
As we said in our application, “At Redmaids’ High Junior School, it is all about ‘having a go’. We want to empower our girls to step out of their comfort zone and say yes to new challenges, and Performing Arts activities support this ethos.”
We also referenced the active investment we are making in the arts with free music or drama lessons for girls who register to join us in Year 3. https://www.redmaidshigh.co.uk/Year3artsaward
The aim of the awards is to highlight the excellence of the student experience in independent schools.
The Independent Schools of the Year finalists will be revealed on 7 September, and judges will then meet again to reach a decision on the winner of each category. Winners will be announced in October, so we’ll keep you posted.
