National Success for the Chamber Choir

We are very excited to announce that the Redmaids' High School Chamber Choir has been selected to perform at Music for Youth's National Festival.

The choir has been selected from the many choirs that performed at over 50 regional events across the UK between February and March.

Mrs Harrison, Director of Music, is delighted that the choir has progressed to the national stage of this wonderful event. "We are very proud of the high standard of singing  we have at Redmaids' High, both from our many soloists and from the five different choirs which rehearse weekly. Our Chamber Choir is the most prestigious of these with highly selective entry, so we are delighted the girls have received such recognition."

The national festival will take place in July at Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
