It's showtime for the Juniors

The wonderful imagination of Sir Terry Pratchett was behind this summer’s Year 5 and 6 production of The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.

Based loosely on the tale of the Pied Piper, it was packed with comedy moments, singing and toe-tapping tunes with two casts and choirs that ingeniously switched places over each night to give everyone the chance of taking the stage.

The special effects and staging that are so readily available in Redland Hall enhanced the audience’s enjoyment of the play further.

Junior School Headteacher Mrs Brown said: “We were treated to two evenings of quality entertainment, the result of much hard work and a united effort from staff and pupils – what a super way of finish the half term!”
