A Round-Up of our Lighthouse Programme this Autumn Term

20221109_094053-1Our Lighthouse Programme aims to enhance the learning experience for our students enjoying Sixth Form, further developing their skills and expertise outside of the classroom. Throughout the year we are proud to offer our Years 12 and 13 a wide range of guest speakers, workshops and unique experiences so they can feel even more confident and prepared for their next chapter beyond school life.

As part of the programme this Autumn term, our A Level students have been busy learning about resilience, stress management and leadership, whilst also having the opportunity to hone their interview skills, discover more about credit cards, mortgages and other life finances, as well as widen their knowledge about politics and voting.

A big thank you goes to our Director of Sixth Form Mrs. Moyle and her brilliant team for putting the programme together, and we look forward to the Spring term after Christmas, where the students will work closely with some new guests including Avon and Somerset Police and nurses from the NHS.

If you want to find out more about what we offer at Redmaids' High Sixth Form, please contact Admissions below to arrange a private tour.
