They headed into the country, and enjoyed a 30 minute woodland walk, before going underground to explore Sandford Levy; which is part cave and part mine. In a trip led by [Mendip Outdoor Pursuits](https://mendip.me/book/outdoor/), the girls' instructor Rhodri, told them all about how the mine had been used by the Home Guard. They also looked out for cave spiders, moths and bats.
