We love the images our Year 8 students came up with as part of their tutor-time 'nature challenge'.
Led by the pastoral team, this activity was part of a programme that will focus on well-being this month.
The health benefits of spending time outside are well documented and we don't have to take major steps to feel them. It seems that taking a short, 15 minute stroll through a natural area is enough to show measurable, biochemical changes.
As the Head of Year 8 Mrs Armsby explained, "We have lots of activities planned for the next few weeks which are designed to encourage creativity and boost moods. A big part of this is ensuring the girls get outside, and appreciate nature.
"We are exceptionally lucky to have such beautiful and spacious grounds and we want the girls take full advantage of them."
You can see more of the girls' images on our school Facebook page.
