National Children's Orchestra success for Elodie and Emilia

Congratulations to Emilia in Year 9 and Elodie in Year 6, who have just been awarded places on the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. This is a tremendous achievement, as auditioning for the orchestra is a highly competitive process. The “National Children’s Orchestra” actually consists of three symphony orchestras. Emilia has performed with the Under 13’s Orchestra previously, but she has now won a place to perform in the main, most senior orchestra, which is a fantastic achievement. Whilst, Elodie who has only been playing the clarinet for 3 years and will be taking her Grade 5 later this year, has received a play to play clarinet in the Under 12's Orchestra.

As part of their involvement in the orchestras, Emilia and Elodie will be able to enjoy playing alongside some of the best young instrumentalists from across the country, as well as work with some of the country’s most experienced tutors, conductors and visiting musicians. Congratulations to you both! 👏🎼🎉
